Pork Rub - Inspired by the Austrian Habsburg Empire. Also known as Viennese cuisine, Austrian cuisine is derived from the cuisine of the Austrian Habsburg Empire that had been influenced by Hungarian, Czech, Italian, and Bavarian cuisines. Austrian Cuisine is one of the most multi- and trans-cultural cuisines in Europe.Featured Ingredients: rosemary, parsley, lemon zest, garlic, juniper berries, white muntok peppercorns, allspice, sage, coriander, cardamom, mace and other spices.
Expected Taste: Rosemary together with juniper berries provide a woody and piney like aroma which balances well with refreshing lemon zest and sage that gives a balsamic aroma.
Marinade: ˝ cup white wine or Cranberry juice, 2 tbsp Olive Oil, and 2 tbsp rub.
Suggested Recipe: Sprinkle onto pork before pan-frying, grilling or backing, it gives a golden color and mild, aromatic and fresh spiciness that is amazingly agreeable. Great for marinating a pork loin before backing.
Also great with: Pork tenderloin, pork chops or spare ribs. The Heavenly Hog Rub adds great flavor for your roasting, baking, curing or smoking, as well as barbecuing method of cooking.
